Our relationship with plastic had changed pre-pandemic, shifting away from single-use. But since COVID-19, we’ve turned back towards disposable plastics.
Single-use plastics are important to securing our food chain and our food supply, in healthcare and in protecting us from the propagation of coronavirus.
But we can improve the sustainability of how we create and recycle single-use plastics with innovations in anti-microbial surfaces and new ways in which handle and sanitise materials for a safe – and sustainable - world.
