IME Virtual Alumni Workshop: Making your MSc go further (Session 1)
Added on Tue Jun 02 10:14:00 BST 2020
Duration: 0:27:18
MSc 2003 alumnus Sarah Jackson, who is now Director of Research, Partnerships & Innovation at the University of Liverpool, reflected on partnerships for innovation, why we need them and how we can build them. What we learn at the MSc IME is very relevant to these themes. In discussion with Dr Kieron Flanagan, Senior Lecturer at AMBS, Sarah talked of a real appetite at partner companies, such as Unilever, for innovation, saying that “the skills and knowledge that [students] have been developing through [the IME] program […] will be hugely useful and hugely beneficial“. (Recorded on 2 June 2020)
